Development + printing in one day
From roll to paper print in a single day
A full day in the darkroom: in the morning you develop your own roll, in the afternoon you make paper prints. From exposed negative to finished print, all without leaving Llumàtics.
Everything in one day
The complete analogue process has two moments: film development and darkroom printing. They’re usually learned separately, in two workshops on two different dates. In this format we combine them: you develop in the morning, you print in the afternoon.
No prior experience needed. It’s a great entry point for anyone who wants to understand the full process in one go, without waiting between sessions.
How the day is structured
Morning (10:00–14:00) — Film development
- Preparing the chemicals
- Loading the spiral in total darkness
- Step-by-step development: developer, stop bath, fixer, wash
- Inspecting and drying the negative
Break — 2 hours free
Afternoon (16:00–20:00) — Darkroom printing
- The enlarger: how it works and focusing
- Test strip and reading the exposure
- Print development in the tray
- Basic controls: contrast and zone adjustments
- Finishing and presentation
